Guidlines:
Photo submitted as HIGH QUALITY jpeg or pdf, 300 ppi. Photo should be cropped to include torso to top of head for best results. Be aware that cropping body shots may reduce quality of photo. Photo must be submitted to ccaputa@jungletheater.org by March 16.
TIPS:
Clothing:
Make sure your clothing isn’t the same color as the background.
If you choose to wear a hat in your photo, make sure it doesn’t cast a shadow on your face; take your photo in front of a good light!
Make sure your glasses aren't glaring and avoid using flash.
What is in the background of your photo?
Good lighting is important! Don't stand in front of a window or door when taking your photo.
Choose a solid-colored wall for your photo’s background.
Who is taking the photo?
Selfies don't work well; have someone else take your photo or use the self-timer.
If you use a smartphone to upload your photos, make sure the file is as large as possible.
Use a vertical format for your photo at eye level and include background space around your head and shoulders.
Cropping your photo:
We will crop your photo so that your arms are inside the right and left edges of the frame.
Make sure the photo includes from the top of your head, down to your waist.
If your photo is with multiple people, make sure you crop them out.
We recommend not cropping a full body shot, reduced quality in photo may occur.

FAQ:
Can more than 1 person be in the photo?
Only one face per cutout. Photos with multiple people will not be accepted.
Does the photo have to be myself? Can I submit a photo of my pet or another individual?
Your cutout does not have to be you! Make a donation on behalf of a friend, family member, Jungle actor, or pet. Pet photos are permitted if they comply with the submissions guidelines and criteria.
How will I know if the photo I upload is accepted?
You will be contacted if your photo does NOT meet submission guidelines. See our photo submissions guidelines for tips on submitting the best photo.
Will I be able to see my cutout during the B.A.S.H.?
We are planning on panning to showcase a “crowd” shot of all of our “audience members” during our online event. We will also post photo stills on our social media after the event for you to find and share where you are in the crowd.
Where will my cut out be placed?
Cutouts will be randomly placed in a lower-level seat. There is no guarantee which area your cutout will be placed or what seat.
If I buy one for each member of my family, will we be placed next to each other?
If you order all at the same time and let us know in advance, we would be happy to accommodate this request and place cutouts next to cutouts from the same order.
Can I keep my cutout after the B.A.S.H.?
Yes! You will be able to pick up your cutout the week following the event. Details about pick up will be communicated closer to the date. Cutouts cannot be mailed.
Why does the image on my cutout look so crummy?
When enlarging faces to 2.5’ from photos, some pixelation/blurriness may happen. To help you submit the best photos to be enlarged, please follow provided photo submission guidelines to make it easier to know what photos worked best. If you submitted a photo below those size/resolution recommendations that would account for the pixelation in the printed.
