Position Title: Box Office Supervisor
Compensation and Time: $18/hr | Part-Time, 20-25 hrs./week during show runs (estimated 15-20 weeks a year)
About the Jungle: The Jungle Theater, located in the diverse Lyn-Lake neighborhood of Minneapolis, is one of the country’s most dynamic theaters, renowned for its imaginative productions and intimate setting. Under the direction of Christina Baldwin and Robin Gillette, the Jungle is focusing on new works, including world premiere commissions, and is deeply dedicated to gender parity and inclusive representation onstage and behind the scenes. Position Purpose: The Jungle Theater seeks a Box Office Supervisor to create a welcoming on-site experience for patrons in alignment with the Jungle’s mission and values. This position is primarily responsible for ticketing matters, whether over the phone or on-site; they are the link between patrons and our ticketing software and will need to handle ticket purchases, exchanges, and other patron concerns. The Box Office Supervisor reports to the Artist & Audience Services Manager and works in close communication and collaboration with all other Jungle front of house staff.
Required Qualifications
Oversee daily operations of the box office phones, ticket printing and check-in process with scanning associate.
Ensure all theater spaces are safe, clean, and ready for Jungle patrons.
Address patron questions and concerns while at the box office as effectively as possible.
Collaborate effectively with House Supervisor, Audience Services Manager and other staff to resolve any patron situations.
Ability to identify, evaluate, investigate, and offer alternative solutions to problems.
Required Qualifications
Customer service experience required.
Familiarity with performing arts non-profits strongly preferred.
Ticketing software preferred. AVP (Audience View Professional) experience strongly preferred.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to exercise professional discretion and confidentiality.
Ability to work primarily evenings and weekends.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of hospitality or theater environment a plus.
This position is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may need to lift up to 30 pounds.
