Costume Design: Jacqueline Addison
Jacqueline prides herself on painting a canvas that allows her to reminisce about her beloved tradition and country of Ghana itself. Creating an exceptionally breathtaking piece is top priority in Jacqueline's world. Bringing anything she daydreams about to life, constant fashion illustrations fill her sketchbook until an “it” piece becomes her ultimate goal. Fashion for her goes far beyond expressing herself; it’s about her being able to see her reflection in something other than a mirror. Follow Jacqueline Addison on Instagram @akuagabby

About Sarah

I am a Costume and Scenic Designer for theater, opera, and dance. Arriving at theater design from a background in studio art, my work focuses on visual storytelling through a lens grounded in exploration, co-creation, and fellowship. With every project, my favorite day is that first design meeting when all ideas are possibilities, brainstorming turns into creative problem solving, and then, parameters are set, a visual language is agreed upon, and the work begins to take shape. I seek complex projects and diverse connections that fuel my passion for collaborative storytelling.
