Job Title: Production Manager/Facilities Manager

Requirements: Valid driver’s license, 3-5 years of production experience
Production Manager
Assists in developing annual budgets, along with Managing Director, by providing estimates, advice and preliminary figures for the production expenses of upcoming season/fiscal year
Ensures budgetary control (in concert with the Managing Director and Artistic Director) of all company productions and programs
Works with Managing Director to reconcile expenses to finish monthly and per-show accounting
Provides necessary assistance and support for all outside shows (rentals like concerts and programs that are not part of the ongoing season).
Assists in the needs (as required) of all company events (in-house or at outside locations) such as fundraisers, tours, etc.
Assist in union negotiations with IATSE and Actor’s Equity.
Plans and runs all production and design meetings.
Facilitates communication between all designers, director, technicians, artistic director, stage management, administration, and front of house.
Hire and pay all production related personnel.
Keep production process on schedule and in budget.
Manage the master calendar.
Light company management duties, on an as-needed basis. (Finding housing for out-of-town personnel, travel arrangements, etc.)
Creates and executes designer contracts.
Makes sure all designers have up to date inventories, drawings, etc.
Facilities/Building Manager
Oversees or personally engages in the ongoing repair of building “erosion” or damage that results from audience/weather wear and tear. Responds creatively as regards the maintenance of the outside of the building: oversees snow removal in winter, sweeping and washing of sidewalks in summer; replacement of burned out bulbs in marquee and general upkeep of signage; engages and oversees window cleaners, creates new signage for front of building when needed, etc, graffiti removal.
Small repairs to broken/breaking in-building appliances and fixtures. (Washer/Dryers, drinking fountains, etc.)
Acquires and replaces all light bulbs inside and outside of building. (Lobby, theatre, marquee, bathrooms, etc.)
Coordinates with any outside contractors about any repairs/maintenance that cannot be done in-house.
Manages building contracts (IT, Pest Control, Security, HVAC maintenance, Garbage, cleaning, etc.)
Light IT duties: creating and managing Microsoft365 accounts, managing physical network gear in building, managing Microsoft Teams phone system.
Coordinates with administration and front-of-house and orders all general operating supplies. (Toilet paper/paper towels, printer/office supplies, cleaning supplies, etc.)
Responsible for changes/maintenance of the phone system.
Manages facilities related budget lines.
Assists in organizational planning for capital improvements
Leads organizational efforts to improve the capital needs of the organization
Coordinates maintenance and repair of company vehicle, must have valid driver’s license.
