SHINE A LIGHT

August 20 - 30, 2020
Projection Nights: August 20-23 | 9-11 pm

Join the Jungle Theater for the designer-focused festival SHINE A LIGHT. Running from August 20-30, this new, multimedia event brings together local artists and exciting window installations and projection on the Jungle exterior for our community to enjoy.

Featuring the talents of Sarah Bahr, Chelsea M. Warren, Mina Kinukawa, Michael Murnane, Karin Olson, and Catalyst Arts’ Bayou, many of whom were slated to design for our 2019-2020 Season, SHINE A LIGHT lifts up the people who make theater, providing a platform to explore themes that impact them and their work.

Enjoy the installation during the day or night! The four large lobby window-installations will be best viewed during the daytime while projections will run on the north side of the building during select evenings from 9:00 pm - 11:00pm every 15 minutes. Learn more about the installations and designers through additional content available on window posters and online.

This event is FREE and open to the public. A self-serve check-in will be available during projection hours of the event. To protect our patrons’ health and safety, this entirely outdoor event is designed to encourage viewers to enjoy the display at their own pace, while being mindful of social distancing. Please click here to view our Covid Safety Guidelines.
