SHINE A LIGHT:
Theater Mu

September 25 - October 18, 2020

A DESIGNER-FOCUSED, MULTIMEDIA FESTIVAL

In August, the Jungle Theater presented SHINE A LIGHT, featuring artists and exciting multimedia installations. Theater Mu continues the festival by moving into their iconic Lyndale Ave-facing windows. Our three-week visual exhibition lifts up the local Asian American designers who make theater, providing a platform to respond to the current moment and explore themes that impact them and their work.

Featuring the talents of Mina Kinakawa, Khamphian Vang, Abbee Warmboe, and Kenji Shoemaker. With artist responses by Daisuke Kawachi, Anna Hashizume, Sara Ochs, and Kealoha Ferreira.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Enjoy the installations at the Jungle Theater during the day or night. To protect our patrons’ health and safety, this entirely outdoor event is designed to encourage viewers to enjoy the display at their own pace, while being mindful of social distancing.
