Showcasing our community in pop-up window gallery
As a neighborhood theater with national impact, the Jungle Theater is deeply rooted in its community. It has been an exciting month as we partnered with local arts organization Art Buddies for this special pop-up installation.
Art Buddies brings free one-to-one creative mentorship programming to schools and scholars in need, including our neighbor, Whittier International Elementary School.
In previous years, Art Buddies’ volunteers spend their time mentoring creating Super Buddies with students. Figuring out super powers, motivations, sidekicks, and then bringing it all to life by designing and creating a fun costume. Today, the organization like so many others have been forced to pivot, and the Jungle has been happy to be a part of their journey.
The installation features a variety of local artist’s work donated by some of Art Buddies’ many volunteers, including the Jungle’s very own Marketing Manager Carly Caputa, and are available for purchase to support this program.

The Jungle is excited to use our windows to spark creativity and shine a light on neighborhood non-profits/arts organizations. This is your LAST WEEKEND to check out this display. The gallery will be on display through the month of January.
